Vintage Christmas RED Fairy Lamp Star Design Free Ship

Collectible Christmas red glass fairy lamp, embossed stars.

This lamp is a bit of a mystery.  The prior owner couldn't say exactly how long she's had it.  When I saw it, I thought it was probably Fenton, but I can't find anything similar on the internet, so I can't attribute it to a specific maker.  My guess is that it is from the 1970s.

The color is a clear Christmasy red.  The outside of both the base and chimney feature a stippled or textured design with embossed stars.  The clear glass insert appears to be original, but I can't be sure of that.

NOTE:  My camera has trouble with red, so I took several pictures under different lighting.  The color in person is brighter than the first picture and deeper than the outdoor pictures - a clear, deep red (no orange cast).

SIZE:  This item is about 6 7/8" tall.

CONDITION:  This item is in excellent condition - no cracks, chips, or other damage.

BACKGROUND:  I recently bought a large number of household and decorative items from a neighbor who is moving soon.  Her house is packed with both old family things (many stored away for years) and some recent purchases and gifts.

As the time for her move approaches, I'll be continuing to buy and list things from this source.

I've been selling antiques and collectibles since the early 1980s and had a retail shop until 2001. I buy most of my merchandise from residents of the retirement community where I live.
