Up for auction is an original 1966 #1150 Color Magic Barbie with Golden Blonde/Scarlet Flame Hair.

Detailed description:

 

Doll:

 

-I would consider her in lightly played with condition. All her joints are tight. I have not tried to bend her legs, so I am not sure if they are still bendable or not. They are not wobbly at the knees or anything though.

 

-She is missing her turquoise bobby pin.

 

-It appears to me that the nail polish is a shade lighter on her left hand. I would say that the fingernail polish is 100% complete.

 

-The toe nail polish is almost absent.

 

- face makeup is prefect. The eyelashes are not rubbed.

 

-I consider her hair to be in good condition. I did not want to mess her hair to search for missing hair plugs, but I believe there to be none.

 

- The bow on her swimsuit is knotted.

 

-There is some dirt under her nostrils. I have not tried to clean it

 

-There are two pinprick marks on the back of her thighs.

 

I believe these to be the only obvious imperfections. There are no chew marks or stains, other than what appears to be slight dirt from her age.

 

I have never removed her swimsuit or headband before.

 

Box and accessories:

 

-She comes with her box that turns in a wardrobe. The clear plastic cover of the box has what appears to be several melted glue stains in the lower potion. The right support handle of the back of the box is broken off, but included. I have tried to tape it, but it did not stay. It is a clean break and fits into place.

 

-The original color changing chemicals are included also, unopened but show signs of their age.

 

-Original booklet is included also. The pages around the staple seem weak, but are still held together.

 

-The tip of the sponge brush has faded away with age.
