This is a Bb Conn 22B, serial# 256408, dating from about 1928. "22B" is stamped under the mouthpiece receiver. There is nice floral engraving around the bell, along with" MADE BY CG CONN ELKHART IND USA".It is in good, solid condition and plays very well. The valves still have decent compression. There are no serious dents, but there are several small dents in the lower bell curve and in the 2cd valve slide. Appearance wise, it still looks good but some of the silver has been retouched. There is some solder showing where the brace near the mouthpiece receiver has been reattached. All in all, this is a nice example of a classic professional trumpet which should be fun to play and add to a collection. There is no mouthpiece. The case is useable, but that's the best I could say for it.
