Early fifties atomic-aged design meets classic old west in this mantelclock depicting a coppery bronze wagon with a driver and his team of 4 horses. The clock, made by the United Clock Corporation,
New York, is a also a nightlight and features a moving arm of the driver to crack the whip. Circa 1950. It is in very good condition. Metal is cast white metal called Spelter with coppery bronze finish on stained solid wooden base which measures 19.5" long and
9" high x 4.5" wide. Night-light illuminates the fiberglass shade that covers the wagon.
Very good condition: Light works,
clock works, moving arm of driver works. Wood base has a few dings (see photo), reigns and rigging on horses and whip are missing. Original cord is taped in two places (see photo). A beautiful time treasure. Good luck on your bidding and thank you.
