These lovely pillowcases are from the estate of a 91-year old woman. I do not know when she made them, but her daughter said she would finish a set and fold them and store them away. She just really enjoyed doing the needlework. This lovely set is done in a combination of cross stitch and embroidery, featuring heart shaped umbrellas and scattered flowers, on a white background. They measure 27" x 20". This set is in the excellent, unused condition I found them in. I took one picture with the second pillowcase folded to show the design only; I hope that is not confusing to look at. The pictures were taken with natural light to show the actual colors, but the pillowcase backgrounds came out rather dark. I was fortunate to have purchased many of her linens, including dish towel sets and many more pillowcase sets; and I will gladly combine shipping on multiple auctions won.
