Vintage Decker's PiQuality Pure Lard Tin, Piqua Ohio








Offered is this small 4 pound lard tin with wire handle.  Used originally by the Val Decker Packing Company, Piqua, Ohio this tin measure 6 1/4" x 5 7/8". 

Condition-wise, it needs a cleaning and shows shows some speckled paint chipping most noticeably beneath the white border where its name appears,  some light rusting around its bottom edge and its handle.  It is offered as is and with a light cleaning would display well in a country kitchen, or wherever else a country store or rural theme may be desired. 

It has its original lid.
