This auction is for a vintage 1960's Japanese Import Del Rey 14x5 6 lug snare drum in good condition. The shell is luan with maple reinforcing rings that sounds surprisingly good.. The 0riginal wrap was beyond repair and was replaced with Purple Satin Flame in 2000 by pro repairman Sam Bacco that looks amazing. The Slingerland copy three point strainer was also added at that time.The Gretsch copy hardware shows some rust and pitting common to drums of this age but is functional and still looks good.
