Here is a unique item for your home! It is a vintage doorknob, made by Sargent! It is mounted on wood, with a standing frame for tabletop display. There is a small hole drilled into the center top of the wood so the piece could also be used as a wall hanging. Used as a salesman's sample, to display the fine appearance of this doorknob! Metal label on the front reads Sargent, Made in U.S.A.. Writing on the back is: R7D 244 TSH. Measures 11 1/2" tall, 4" wide. There is wear to the wood, especially on the bottom left corner, but this is still a very nice display piece!
