You are looking at an Awesome pair of Empire Grenadier 8000P Speakers - Here is your chance to own a pair of really desirable, very rare pair of Empire Greandiers - They were made to hide your speakers in the room and also be used as end tables - These are AMAZING speakers!! - The sound is
incredible with unbelievable bass and detailed, smooth midrange and
airy, open, extended highs - The drivers in these are built amazingly
well with HUGE, alnico magnets and gigantic voice coils - The 12" woofer
has a magnet structure that is over 8" in diameter and has a 5 inch
voice coil - The mid and tweeter have magnets almost as large as the
driver frame! - This explains the amazing sound they produce - The
cabinets are in very good condition with some marks and dings around
the bases. (They can easily be touched up, but I will leave that to the new owner) - The marble tops have some light scratching that is noticeable upon close inspection, but I would think that they can be buffed out, as they are high quality marble - If you look closely at the photos, one of the pieces of marble has a line in it - I took it in to have it inspected at a local marble shop and they told me that line is simply part of the marble - There are actually two lines, they do not touch, it is not a crack and it has never been repaired - I just wanted to bring that up and make it perfectly clear - These are some of the best sounding vintage
speakers I have ever heard! - When will you ever find another set like

These come from a family who has owned them for over 30+ years and never even used them as speakers - They come from a non-smoking, very clean household
