Nifty old fold-up portable pump organ. I believe these were used by in schools, at graveside services, by traveling evangelists, etc. Label inside says "Estey Organ Co., Brattleboro, Vermont, #504-794." I think this particular organ is from the early 1950s. Wood case, with some scrollwork on the sides. Parts of it are solid oak; other parts are oak ply. Not sure what the keys are made of, but they're in good condition, with no cracks or missing keys. There are two knee paddles--not sure what they're supposed to do. I'm not experienced with bellows, but they seem dry, and have some taped areas. Tape should be replaced, and there might be some other little holes that need to be repaired. It does play, but seems to take some effort because of air leakage. There are two sliding buttons by the keyboard--one seems to affect volume, and the other adds more notes. The top of the case has some marks and scratches. It looks like some of the screw holes are damaged--some of the screws have been replaced, and some are missing, so the case could use some repair. When it's upright, it stands 31" high, and depth is 17" at the top. When folded up, cabinet is 11.5" deep, 20" high and 30.5" long. Carrying handle is missing. Please email with any questions. We're in southern California, near Yucca Valley--local pick-up is OK with payment by cashier's check or money order.
