A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
You are bidding on a vintage 8 day wind up Emory & Douglas ship's clock from a Seattle estate. It appears to work correctly keeping good time and striking the proper number of bells. The latching mechanism is functional but needs some attention and there are some several spots of surface oxidation on the case as would be expected from marine use. It comes with the original key. There is a very reasonable reserve. You may contact me with any questions at stephenjsullivan@comcast.net before bidding. Please note all items are sold "as is" so please pay careful attention to descriptions and photographs and bid accordingly. The successful bidder to pay $3.00 for professional packing plus the cost of shipping and insurance. I accept no responsibility for uninsured items.
