VINTAGE WOODEN FISHER-PRICE PULL TOY

MIGHTY TRACTOR

From the 1960s, this vintage pull toy is wooden and sturdy (the large orange rear tires are plastic).

When the toy is pulled, the farmer "wriggles" from side to side, his head rotates, and the toy makes a clicking sound--maybe it's the sound of the ducks quacking!

The tractor with driver measures approximately 6" long, 5 1/4" wide, and 6" high.

Fisher-Price toys "aren't designed to last a season but through a whole childhood, and another childhood after that," according to their advertising.  This tractor belonged to my cousin, who had 3 siblings and also a son--so it's stood the test of time.

The tractor is in good condition for its age and use.  The lithos are colorful, with some minor wear at the edges.  The smiling farmer's face is bright and colorful without any loss of paint.  There is some tape around the pull cord near the little black handle--I'll leave it to the buyer to decide what to do with that.
