Up for bid is another delightful recent find. This is an early vintage baseball shaped still bank. It features the Flying Red Horse logo which I believe is the logo for Texaco or Mobil gasoline. This early vintage advertising promotional bank is made of glass. It has a black metal base with a slot through which coins can be inserted. The black metal base has wording which reads .. Patent Applied For ... Heffelfinger Publications NY. The bank measures 3 1/2" in height and just over 3" in width. The condition is great with no chips, cracks, or repairs to be noted. The Flying Red Horse logo is in excellent condition.This would make a nice addition to any still bank collection, or for the collector of early vintage gasoline advertising memorabilia.
