Up for bid is this very unusual vintage pottery folk art plate.  I believe it is made of redware.  Please correct me if I am mistaken.  I do not know the maker, age or anything about this piece. It is 7 1/2 inches wide.  It is thick & heavy (weighs 1 lb 7 oz.).  The front of the plate has a crackled type finish.  I don't know is this was how it was made.  A fish is painted with black and white stripes.  It has a bluish color eye. The bottom of the plate has a mark (see picture) but I have no idea what this mark is.  If any one knows any information about this dish please let me know.
