This auction is for two vintage General Electric Foil Signs (NOS), never used. One sign advertises receiving tubes and the other Black-Daylite Picture tubes. These signs still have the paper backing on the back. I do not know how durable these signs will be if you decide to remove the backing. I have to assume that anyone who would be interested in these will know the best way to display them and how to do it properly.
The signs are in fair to good condition. There are a few creases and some color loss on each sign from not so careful storage. I think you can see the condition, front and back, fairly well in the photos below. The intensity of the color is good on both and the signs are intact. The signs measure 24" long x 6" wide/deep. Please note that in the photos, the red will appear blurry because of photo compression. This is not a fault in the sign.
A note about shipping these: These can be shipped rolled losely, with a piece of heavy foam in the roll opening, wrapped in tissue and placed in a regular sized container. This gives you the option of first class mail and is how the shipping rates for this auction were calculated. I can ship them flat if you prefer, but it will increase your shipping costs to ship in a flat display box. Parcel post shipping in a flat display box will be nearly twice as much as priority shipping, because of the box size. If you prefer to have these signs shipped flat, you must let me know before you pay your invoice. Please remember that you will not have the option of shipping first class if you select this option because of the weight of the display box. They must be shipped priority mail. If you insist on parcel post, please be prepared to pay twice as much as you would for priority mail. This is not my rule, but the way the United States Post office calculates its shipping rates.
In spite of recent fee hikes, my starting prices will remain as low as possible. However, I do reserve the right to end auctions early that have not been bid. I will never, under any circumstances, end an auction early that has received bids.

Shipping and Payment
U.S. Postal Money Orders are prefered. Postal money orders are only available at a United States Post Office and can be cashed and verified immediately.
Personal or business checks, other bank money orders and cashiers checks are also accepted, but will require a wait of 10 business days to clear my bank after they arrive and are deposited. I deposit daily.
Paypal is also accepted. Authorized Paypal payments ship immediately.
Payments must arrive and clear my bank before I ship. If you use Paypal, the address you want me to ship to must be confirmed by Paypal. Check with Paypal if your're not sure.
International Buyers including Canada,must use Paypal. International bidders: please request a shipping quote before you bid. I will no longer ship First Class International, as it offers no tracking or insurance. This may make shipping costs prohibitive. A confirmed shipping address is required in Canada and the UK. Customs duties may apply. Please note: Auctions are not available to all International locations.
All US buyers not using Paypal: please contact me when you receive your invoice to advise how you will pay, when you will pay and if you need more time to pay. Shipping fees are actual and will include a handling fee as described below. Payment is expected within 7 days of auction end. Please email me if you require more than the standard 7 days to make payment.
This item will weigh about 13 ounces when packed to ship as noted above. Please pick the delivery method that best meets your delivery needs. Please see my note in the auction description about shipping these. Should your actual shipping cost be less than what is shown by the calculator (it will never more),you will pay the lesser amount. Insurance is always offered to U.S. buyers.
A small handling fee of $.50 (50 cents) is included in your postage. Items selling for more than $25, will have no handling fee.
Combined shipping is available for multiple purchases. I provide Delivery Confirmation for all U.S. Sales and Signature Confirmation on all sales over $250.
I ship daily Monday-Friday, as soon as payment is received and cleared. Payments received on Friday, will ship on Monday.
Returns
I think you'll be pleased with your purchase, but if there are problems, please contact me so we can resolve them. Since most of the items I sell are collectibles and used, it is very important that you read the auction description. If you lack expertise on some of these items, I encourage you to talk with someone who does. Researching before you buy is always a good idea. Please ask questions if you have them. Returns are always accepted for the amount of the item only. You pay to ship the item back and insure it to the value you paid. If you paid with Paypal, don't forget to add delivery confirmation before you return the item. If you request a return, the item must be back in my possession 30 days after you received it, in the original box, with original packing materials and in the same condition received. Refunds will be made, based on how you paid, and as soon as the item is back in my possession.
