This beautiful Vintage Sterling Silver Openwork Brooch measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/6".   The brooch has an art nouveau / arts and crafts design of grapes and leaves and is marked 'STERLING".  This is superb quality silverwork, exquisitely finished and resembles Georg Jensen jewelry is both design and quality.  Of all the sterling jewelry I've handled over the years, this brooch fits into the "Best Quality" category.  Excellent condition, all original with safety clasp, has exquisite soft patina and has not been cleaned or polished.  From a local collection.  The exact age is unknown however guaranteed an older item and definitely not a reproduction.  If anyone recognizes the designer, I welcome hearing from you - this brooch has an exceptional design and is very wearable, perfect gift.
