This item has been purchased from a large antique market recently. This is a typical Persian design like a mosque and inlaid with an old fashioned mechanical alarm clock. Obviously, the exquisite cloisonne are hand enameled and 24k gilt decorated on the solid brass, it then, let the whole clock shining and beautiful. Six well gilt cloisonne posts around the main clock, 3 posts in each side which instead of normal fram. This clock is heavy, the weight of it is almost 1 kilograme. We think this a vintage one and movement kept in very good condition, also including surface of the clock as we cleaned, adjusted and observed it alomst a week. It ticks strongly. There is an additional dial is indicate the minute, and the long narrow golden hand is showed alarm time. It is amazing when you have time and sit still to appreciate the clock with its perfect workmanship but the are some very very slight thin capillary lines on the surface. We just start the auction with inexpensive price for the good looking vintage clock. Please bid it with confidence!! We are not professional with watches and clocks but we do think it is very good either for collection or daily use.
