Straight from the Vintage Designer closet, these lovely 1960s Evins shoes, made in Italy, in a rare dove grey leather. This upscale pair of shoes features a ruched (gathered) effect at the open, peekaboo, toe, and smart 3" heels (especially if you are doing more walking, these days).The size is 8 1/2M.
Here are the approximate measurements: 10" from back of heel to end of toe; 2 7/8" at the widest part of the ball (measured from the sole). These are in very good, ready-to-wear condition - without flaws, scuffs or discoloring. The interiors are nice and clean; the sole and heels show very little wear.
Although I date these from the 1960s, the overall effect is Mid-Century, 1940-50s - especially with the toe and ruched effect. They just don't make 'em like this anymore, and, if they do, they are extremely costly - many times the price listed here.
I have rarely seen shoes this color; in fact, grey is not a color you see often - especially in shoes. For their lovely styling and craftmanship, I have kept them for many years - housed with the Viviers and the Weitzmans.
