This item is a Late 1970's Hat or Lapel Pin mad by a Small Company Called MCN. This company was the great Lawsuit that was lost to Harley-Davidson for the aftermarket Infringement trade mark rights. This company made these type pins WAY long time before Harley started these Lawesuits. This little company kept The name of HARLEY-DAVIDSON alive during the Bad times that Harley was Losing Customers, and before they even thought of making Lapel pins. Harley wanted them to pay royalties on the name and they refused because they made most of the designs.
Have just one of these pins of few different designs, that are being listed. Hope you can add this piece of Nostalgia to your Motorcycling collection.
This pin is a NOS MCN catalog #8, HARLEY-DAVIDSON Bar and Shield Logo, silver tone with Red and Blue back ground, with single pin back. Item is of die cast metal approx. 3/4" by 3/4"in size. Please remember these pins are not licensed Harley-Davidson Products from the 1970's ERA. Hope you can use it in your Old Harley-Davidson Collection.
