Vintage HOUNDSTOOTH Check GREAT DANE Year Round Coat 48
Guys...here's your opportunity to own a fabulous vintage 50's or early 60's houndstooth check, all season coat with a zip out lining. The front closes with three big plastic buttons and each cuff has two smaller buttons.
The coat has a GREAT label which reads, "Great Dane, Year Round Coat, Cosmopolitan Mfg. Co." and has an embroidered Great Dane dog head. The fabric feels like a wool gabardine with mini dark grey and brown houndstooth check on a light grey background. Inside is lined in brown satin and a furry wool zip lining. The front has vertical pockets and there's a flap at the back that buttons.
Approximate measurements are: underarm to underarm-24", waist-48", length-42", sleeve length-27" and shoulder to shoulder-21". The coat is in very good condition. It needs to be cleaned as there are a few light spots on it...but nothing serious. This coat will be a year round addition to your wardrobe.
