This off-white, matte finish ceramic hat vase is painteu with brown paint accents around the edges of the design for shadowing and realistic depth. The hat design is ornamented with a brown and black pipe figurine attached to the front, glazed in a gloss finish. This vase has never been used and has no cracks, chips, repairs or damage, however, it shows slight wear from wrapping and storage. It came from a florist shop that closed 30 years ago and has been carefully stored. This planter dates circa 1958.
The original foil seal is on the bottom and reads Lefton Trade Mark Exclusives JAPAN and numbered H5959.
