Vintage Henriot Quimper Cup Plate - Faience Pottery
A beautiful faience pottery miniature or cup plate, marked, "Henriot" and "Quimper" and "France." A lovely example of the classic Quimper design, the plate has an colorfully dressed Breton (man) in the center with yellow trim at the scalloped edge. Measures 4.5 inches in diameter. The mark on the back of the plate dates the piece to between 1922 and 1968.
Lovely presentation- no cracks or repairs -- but does have a significant glaze chip at about the 4 o'clock position on the plate (see closeup photo) - nevertheless, a pretty display piece.
