I will just be listing my smaller dogs, as the large ones are too much trouble to ship. If there is absolutely no interest in an item, I may take it off sale at any time, since it costs me money each month to keep them in my ebay store. However, I price things pretty fairly and at the same price as they are in my store here in Vermont, and quite a few tend to go rather quickly, since the listed dogs are the ones I have already put on my shelves, so don't sit on the fence too long if you really like one!!! :-) ...................................................................THIS IS AN ADORABLE PEKINGESE DOG FIGURINE, MADE IN JAPAN, WITH WORN PAINT AS WAS ORIGINALLY COLD PAINTED OVER THE GLAZE. STILL VERY CHARMING THO, AND HAS GREAT VINTAGE APPEAL!! HE IS 2 INCHES HIGH, AND2.75 INCHES WIDE AT THE BASE, AND QUITE OLD, PROBABLY FROM SOMETIME BETWEEN THE LATE 30'S AND EARLY 60'S. AS THESE JAPAN DOGS WERE SELDOM DATED, IT IS HARD TO PIN POINT EXACTLY HOW OLD HE IS, BUT HE IS DEFINITELY OLD AND VINTAGE AND NOT NEW. Please note, that since I only sell old dogs, minor crazing, dirt, or paint wear are not considered defects in my eyes, so you may want to look elsewhere if you are looking for brand new items. I like the old ones since they have so much more charm, and certainly hold their value, or even increase in value, over time!! I have over 3800 vintage dogs in my listed inventory, and try to list as many of them online as I can each week. But, as I don't have the space to display them in my new digs, most of them are still in boxes, so I can only list them one box at a time, and the packers who helped me didn't put them in any particular order in the boxes. So, the first dog I pull out of the box is the first dog I list that day. I have every breed of dog imaginable, including but not limited to dachshund dogs, collie dogs, pointer dogs, retriever dogs, german shelpherd dogs, bonzo dogs, bulldog dogs, pug dogs, poodle dogs, fox, scottish, west highland white, jack russell, sealyham, and airedale terrier dogs, boston terrier dogs, cocker, water, springer, and other spaniel dogs, hound, bassett, borzoi, and afghan dogs, etc.... So please check my other listings if you love old dogs as much as I do. I have them listed by breed in my ebay store if you just collect a certain breed of dog. I will be listing the ceramic and glass ones first, and the cast iron, spelter, and pot metal or copper, silver, pewter, bronze, brass, ones last, as they are my personal favorites, and it is hard to let them go even tho I have absolutely no room to display them all.
