@Jumblelaya: an INSANELY FABULOUS ca. 1950s/early 1960s (Mad Men era) peignoir set.

Amazing set -- rare and desirable style, color, and designer.

This set has MORE VOLUME than my images would suggest -- gown and peignoir are clipped to my size 4 dress form for fit.  There is much sweep and beauty here...hem circumference of the gown is 90"!

I have made this auction PRIVATE for your bidding convenience, so please bid with confidence.

Details include:

~Designer label is Jenelle of California
~Gorgeous pure nylon chiffon in shimmery cobalt blue, trimmed with lavish matching lace; gown is double-layered with silky opaque nylon closest to you
~Full sweep tent style -- the gown also has hidden slits to thread a matching ribbon through and tie closed for the goddess style shown (we do include ribbon in the sale, which is not original but matches perfectly the trim of the gown/robe)
~A dream set!

Measurements -
About a modern XL to XXL -- this will fit many due to its relaxed swing silhouette.

Bust (underarm area, measured spread flat then doubled):  about 50".
Waist: unfitted/50"
Hips: free/unfitted.
Length, shoulder to hem: 57".

Please note: these are the measurements of the dress itself, taken flat with a flexible measuring tape and then doubled.
You MUST be smaller than the dress's measurements and allow room for give and the kind of fit you desire.

Condition -

This 50+ year old vintage peignoir set is in Excellent condition.

Presents beautifully, very wearable, well-preserved.  Vivid, clean, unfaded, and quite pristine.  This set has a few of the tiny no-see picks that are nearly always found on these chiffons, and the robe has one tiny circular hole on the back shoulderblade area, but that's all I could find.

A: Hi there! The robe is the same length as the nightgown -- clipping them to my dress form somewhat threw off the proportions in the pictures. They are a perfect matched set in length, color, label, and style. Cheers!
