Item Description
This listing features a vintage book called Jack and the Beanstalk. It is a Linentex book from the Saalfield Pub. Co., Acron, Ohio. It is No. 614W 653 and Made in the U.S.A.
It is 12 pages in length and large, measuring 14 1/4" x 10 1/4". It is complete with illustrations, some of which are signed by Frances Brundage. Illustrations are bright and clear.
The book has age wear, some handling stains and a bit of blue pencil marking on the front cover. There are some tiny tears on the edges of the interior pages on the outside and by the staples and a tear on the bottom of one page.
Overall, the condition is good for this age book. There is no date on the item, but this type of book was popular in the early 1900's. Cover and back are illustrated the same. A couple of the interior pages have pulled lose from the old staples, but all pages are present.

I sell mostly vintage/antique items from early through mid-century. All are authentically old, unless I state otherwise. I purchase them at local farm and estate auctions and in most cases know very little about the prior owner, their life-style or habits. I make my purchases available to collectors and dealers on eBay. While I do collect, I am primarily a seller of a variety of vintage items. I trust that those of you who have an interest in my items will be knowledgeable about them as I do not claim to be an expert in the areas that might be of interest to you.
