This exquisite Japanese glass fishing float was found on the Northern Japanese shores near Hachinohe. In English, Hachinohe literal means Eighth Gate.
GLASS FISHING BALLS WITH KANJI SYMBOLS ARE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER
This fishing ball displays Kanji symbols around the glass button. The fishing balls that display Kanji symbols are highly sought after because they are hard to find and make the ball very unique. I have circled the Kanji symbols in the close up picture. The black circles are not on the ball.
This is the most authentic Japanese glass float you can get because it is straight from the Japanese shoreline.
This float has a light green tint and measures approximately 3.50 inches in diameter. The glass is near perfect condition, is watertight and shows very little signs of actual use.
If you have questions or want more pictures, write me. I am shipping this from Northern Japan utilizing the U.S. Postal System, First Class mail.
