This historic collection includes black & white copies of original patterns, templates and quilting designs that appeared in the Kansas City Star Newspaper. Effie's Kansas City Star quilt patterns are reprinted with permission of the Kansas City Star. For more information about Kansas City Star quilt patterns, visit my about me page and click the Pickle Dish. This lot includes block patterns for a quilt series that appeared in 1932 entitled Memory Bouquet.  This popular series is for appliqued blocks with embroidered accents.  Each of the 20 blocks features a different flower including geranium, morning glory, holly tulips, and many more. This set also includes the 21st pattern which is the quilting design for this quilt.  Each clipping reprint contains the instructions for creating each block as appeared in the paper in 1932.  These patterns come to you in a clear plastic sleeve to make it easy for you to use. These could be just the copies of old quilt block patterns and templates that you have been looking for to add to your vintage quilt block patterns.
