This auction is for an antique/vintage Eastman Kodak reference book entitled "How To Make Good Pictures; A Book for the Everyday Photographer." It is the twenty-fifth edition (revised) and dates to about 1940-1941. I know this because my mother's name and the date 1-41 are written inside the back cover. The book is in very good condition. The binding is tight, although the cover looks as if it got wet at some time in the past. The pages are all in good condition, with a few underlinings and notes, but not many. There is some slight age discoloration particularly inside the front cover but all-in-all the book is in great shape. IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW IN THE FINE PRINT: I am not an expert on most of the things I sell; if you need more information, ask before bidding. I sell all old/used/estate items "as is." If you check my feedback you will see I am a reliable seller; I do not mess around trying to put something over on my customers. As far as shipping costs, I never pack an item until it is sold, so I can't tell you exact numbers. I estimate weights as closely as I can, but until an item is actually packed I cannot give a 100% accurate number. DO NOT RELY ON THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR – Please WAIT FOR AN INVOICE. I ship primarily US Post Office, using the least expensive applicable service, but will ship using Express or Priority Mail, FedEx or UPS – if you want something other than basic US Postal Service you must tell me. Do not make payment until I send an invoice. People who do that frequently pay more for shipping than is necessary. If you wait until I send an invoice the entire problem does not exist. Buyers: 1. A flat-rate S&H charge of $1 is added to every invoice. 2. If you have unusual shipping requirements (such as an alternative address) it is up to you to contact me through the “Contact Seller” link and let me know what you need. Otherwise, I will ship your article, via Allow 3 business days handling time after I have received your payment. If there is a reason for a shipment to be delayed I will always contact you. FYI, the Post Office in my town is not open on weekends. I will ship worldwide unless otherwise noted in the listing. Foreign buyers: you are responsible for customs or import duties. These charges are NOT included in the purchase or shipping price. Do not ask me to undervalue your merchandise or mark it as a “gift.” I try hard to provide my customers with excellent service. I will always try to work out a solution to a problem. If you are dissatisfied, please tell me first. This is a smoke-free environment, but there are pets, if that matters to you. Please leave feedback for me and I will return the favor. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. |
