Vintage Lge Sheridan Silverplate Pitcher

This is a large vintage silverplated pitcher made by Sheridan.  It is hallmarked with the Sheridan marks of crown, script S and shield.  Under the hallmarks is "Silver on Copper".  It is a large pitcher and was an estate find.  It was so black with patina that we were not sure it would be worth the effort.  But we gave it the old college try and you can see the results.  There are still black marks that we have photographed for your review.  We do not know if this piece will come back any further than what our efforts accomplished.  But it is such a pretty piece that additional polishing is worth a try.

It measures about 7 1/2" tall with a top diameter of about 5".  We believe it is circa 1940s.
