For your consideration is a Vintage Ludwig Acrolite 5" X 14" snare drum. The P-85 throw-off, P-32 block logo butt, 3/4" knob tone control muffler, rims (minor rust spots that will buff out), tension rods, lugs and snares are all original, good working order and are good to very good condition. The Blue/Olive badge is seriel # 2067257. This drum is circa 1978.

This drum features the "Acoustic Perfect" spun alloy shell, as seen on page 7 from the 1964 Ludwig catalog. This is the exact same seamless shell used by Ludwig to produce the Super Sensitive and Supra phonic 400 snare drums.
