For your consideration is a Vintage Ludwig Acrolite 5" X 14" snare drum. The original P-85 throw-off and P-32 block logo butt are present and in good working order. The 3/4" knob tone control muffler is present. The lugs are all original. The Blue/Olive badge is seriel # 2067257. This drum is circa 1977.

This drum features the "Acoustic Perfect" spun alloy shell, as seen on page 7 from the 1964 Ludwig catalog. This is the exact same seamless shell used by Ludwig to produce the Super Sensitive and Supra phonic 400 snare drums.
