Here is a vintage Ludwig Drum set in RARE ORIGINAL "Psychedelic Red" wrap with the Pointy Blue/Olive badges from the early 70's in excellent condition. The shells are 3-ply, with beautiful clear maple interiors and maple reinforcement hoops. It is a 4 piece matching kit-12-13-16-22 and the overall condition of this set is VG to excellent. The colors are very vivid, although there is some fade to the green in the wrap but the color is still vivid on most of the kit, a characteristic of this wrap "Photos do not do this kit justice". The front bass drum head is original to the kit, all other heads are like new & in excellent playable condition. 1 bass drum hoop inlay piece was replaced with a classic reissue wrap and it matches very nice. There are NO extra holes or modifications and all of the chrome hardware is in beautiful condition. The chrome shows only a very minor film here or there but is still very shiny and looks great. There is only one issue with the wrap,on the bottom of the bass drum near the spur, there is a minor surface split to the wrap.(see pic) It's hard to see unless your looking for it. All the seams are in excellent condition.  All the maple interior shells are beautiful with NO issues and all bearing edges are factory perfect. No missing parts, everything holds nice & tight....NO issues other than what was described with the wrap. Great for collectors, players, a super recording kit.  SUPER Sounding, BIG Resonant tone....RARE Ludwig PSYCHO KIT!  I would say it's a  STRONG  8.75.. out of 10.  THE KIT TUNES UP EASILY & IS A PLEASURE TO PLAY!!!  This is a very impressive set Live!   E-mail with questions.
