This auction is for a large vintage majolica bowl. The bowl is the shape of big cabbage leaf supported on 3 lobster (or shrimp) legs.Measurements: approx 11 1/2 inch in diam and 3 1/2 inch high (at the rim). The bowl is in great vintage condition with bright green and brown/red colors.  Detailed condition report: there is an overall  crazing expected in older ceramic pieces and some minor wear to the glaze (not really significant - see pics). There are also some small chips the rim (mostly underneath approx 4-5) of the bowl  and one to the body of the lobster (shrimp?). No cracks, big chips, or other damage. It is a beautiful and very unusual bowl, no markings .
