The Marching Xylophone you are viewing is a product of the WFL Drum Company, founded in Chicago, Illinois in 1937. As far as I know, the company no longer exists. This Xylophone is most likely from the 1940's and is in excellent condition. The only issue I can find, is the zipper on the canvas case will not work. This instrument has the following specifications: Overall length not counting the support bar -- 21 inches; Greatest width -- 14 inches; Bars -- gold metal and silver metal (I do not know what kind); Frame -- cast aluminum and the rails are stainless steel with red felt padding. The padding and anchors are in good condition and this instrument has a clear, bright tone. The hammers do not have any marking on them. The aluminum frame does not have any cracks and does not show any oxidation. This is a near perfect vintage instrument that will still do its job. Thanks for your interest -- no reserve.
