Martin Imperial Trumpet-Handicraft
This Trumpet was owned by my grandfather, who passed away years ago, so I really do not know it's history other than he played it in the Navy Band in the 40s-50s. My father thinks he had it in high school in the 40s. I just had it checked over at the local music store and 2 weak springs were replaced, slides greased, valves oiled, and valve springs replaced, store said it was in good useble condition. Case shows normal wear, a couple warn areas on the bottom, otherwise good. Includes 2 original Martin mouthpieces and other unknown brand accessories. Trumpet is in great condition, shows a few little pitted corrosion marks along the top of horn, see photos. A great vintage instrument! Logo on case Says Martin Handicraft Elkhart Indiana, there is also a small emblem on the inside of the case that says the same thing.
