Vintage Mattel 1965 Francie & Barbie Round Case 5020
Description: Here's a fabulous blast from the past! Up for auction is this funky, baby blue carrying case for your Barbie or Francie dolls, featuring the gorgeous cousins themselves smiling at you from the cover. The case vinyl covered cardboard and has a metal zipper and metal loop at which the handle is attached. The case also contains a receipt from September of 2002 for $20.00, the re-sale of this case I'm assuming. The front is marked " Mattel Inc. Toymakers", "5020" and "1965 Mattel Inc. Barbie & Francie are trademarks of Mattel for it's dolls".
Dimensions: Case measures 13" in diameter and 3.75" deep.
Condition: Case in fair condition. Though the illustrations are still intact, some creative little girl drew a few small pictures on the cover with blue pen which still can be seen despite cleaning. There is also a stamp on the bottom the reads "$299". The cover also shows some damage to the vinyl on the inside where it has come apart. Zipper works as it should and over all construction of case completely intact.
