Vintage Men's BOND Fedora Trilby Hat MIB Orig. Tag

Bogart and Capone wore them. Jimi Hendrix, The Shadow and the Blues Brothers wore them. And loads of Hollywood trendsetters have been seen wearing them...both men and women...hiding from the paparazzi. It's the Trilby hat...or Fedora. This one is a great high-quality example that's still mint in the original box. Never worn, the hat still has its original tag inside. It's made of soft black wool velour...the tag calls the color 'Coke'. Brand is BOND ROYAL QUALITY. Size is 6 7/8...measures 21 3/4 inches around the inner leather band. Brim is 1 3/4 inches wide. The hat is clean inside and out...unworn and in excellent condition. Slight wear to box edges but it's great too.

The Trilby has been a symbol of elegance and class since first being discovered in 1894 in a London play called Trilby. The hat has been associated with jazz, ska and soul musicians. It's also popular with subculture groups. And then, there's the rest of us who just like a good old hat.
