Vintage Mexican silver brooch dog pin with waggly tail

When we were cleaning out at PawPaw's house recently, we uncovered a few more pieces of vintage jewelry ... tonight's listings include some of it!

Here is a cute little vintage Mexican silver brooch ... 3-D dog from behind ... his tail is a separate piece and moves back and forth ... 3 inches long, including the tail ...

The back is marked 925, Laton, Mexico, TN-56 ... very nice vintage condition!  Exact age unknown. 

Might make a nice little Christmas gift for your favorite dog lover ... it's November already, you know!  If I can answer specific questions, I'll be happy to try!

My in-laws were antique dealers in northern Illinois for years, and then both worked for an auction service for a long time.   They were collectors of almost every kind of historical memorabilia since shortly after World War II.  PawPaw could always find a lot more interesting items to bring home than he could sell, so he saved them! 

After Mimi passed away in 2005, PawPaw decided it was time to start sharing his treasures with others, and he entrusted me with listing them.  We lost our PawPaw on September 26, but I still have many, many of his vintage and antique collectibles that need new homes, and I will continue listing them as we have for the past four years.
