You are bidding on a HARDBACK college textbook on the subject of Audio, Sound Recording, and vintage (now vintage, because the book is from 1994), and this beauty is 670 pages of greatness. A big book! Hardback! The book is in EXCELLENT, unmarked condition.
A great section on Microhones, featuring the RCA 77DX, Neumann and AKG mics, Beyer ribbon, and many others, with specs, graphs etc...worth the price right there!
The pictures and chapter info are from a slightly earlier edition, but these are basically what you will find:

For what it is worth, I have owned a vintage, tube based analogue 24-track studio for over 20 years...and yes, the vintage, tube and discrete electronics DOES sound much better than anything else! Learn all you can about vintage tube gear, it keeps going up in value!
