DESCRIPTION

Made about 1950 in Germany. This is the 1st edition of Mont Balnc 149 series. Excellent condition. This model is most quality celluloid Mont Blancs, the thicknes of the celluloid is thicker than the next models. Excellent condition, check the pictures. The nib is size OB 14C 585. The interesting is that Mont Blanc made the 1st edition 149 whit the nib from the privious model 139L (after WW II). These nibs have the imprint 139L. This 149 is exactly like that. Another difference whit the latter 149 is the ink window (this one is a bit longer) and the lack of stripes on the ink window. Its really luck to find this pen in it's original condition without restorations or compilations. This pen was only polished. There is small ding under the clips. And few small dings on the barrel and piston. For me the most important is the original condition for any pen, I don't value the restorated pens like this after all the original condition makes the pens valuable and rare.
