I purchased this headset new while at the Charlotte Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina.  This was the October 1993 NASCAR Winston Cup Races. This AM-FM radio headset is still in perfect condition and works. In fact, I left the original battery in the headset, although you will need a new battery.  Unfortunately, I didn't keep the box.  This is a NASCAR collector's necessity, especially if you're sitting close to the speedway.

The following is a bit of history during the 1993 NASCAR Winston Cup:

The 1993 NASCAR Winston Cup season offered its usual share of exciting races, but it was also touched with tragedy as two of NASCAR's up-and-coming stars -- 1992 champion Alan Kulwicki and Davey Allison -- were both killed during the season. Although driver Rusty Wallace offered a late-season streak -- winning five of the last eight races -- he was no match for Dale Earnhardt, who won his 6th Winston Cup championship in 1993.
