I'm pleased to offer this VINTAGE Native American PINE NEEDLE Basket. It's round in shape with a woven hinge lid and measures about 7" in diameter X 2-1/4" tall. This one features dyed grass colors of pink, green, yellow & orange. There is remarkable craftsmanship & INTRICATE DETAIL in the weaving. Tight narrow bundles of pine needles form the bottom, sides & top. A spiral center & six-pointed star within a broad "net like" weave adorns the top. There's a double cord & coiled button fastener to secure the lid. This handy size basket/container has rigid walls & is nice & sturdy with NO problem areas. It exhibits a naturally darkened patina that is evidence of the passage of time. This FINE EXAMPLE of Native Americana is in EXCELLENT CONDITION for it's age!
