Welcome! Thank you for visiting! This is an sweet vintage bread box made by Nesco. It has the early Garden Girl decal that they are best known for, and probably dates from the mid 1930's. It is cream colored with jadite green trim around the front pressed tin door. It is in good vintage condition with some expected minor paint scratches, use marks and one dent on the top back corner (see photos). The green trim and the original garden lady decal show wear, but I think this just adds to its charm. The interior has a metallic finish which has darkened over time and has some scratches and expected wear for an item 70 year old. This cabinet style box measures 14" tall x 13" wide X 14" deep, and would hold all of your bread, pies or pastries and more. The old style latch still works fine. There is a removable shelf inside and air vents on each side. Overall, its still a nice piece and It would be charming in any kitchen!
