This camera belonged to an elderly camera enthusiast. I am selling it on behalf of his widow. I haven't been able to open the back of this camera, and I don't want to force anything, so I haven't got a picture of the inside. If someone can tell me how to open it, I will add another photo to this listing. The leather cover it comes with says Leica, not Nikon. I am posting from Victoria, 3219. Sorry about all these add-ons, but I think I managed to get two better photos of the numbers on the back plate. 

I am no photographer. (I bet I didn't need to tell anyone that)  I ended up even using a magnifying glass to try to make the number clearer.

Last night I thought the number was 609583, but this morning, it looks more like 609683.  You be the judge.

The gentleman who owned this camera was a pilot for the RAAF during WWII. 

On at least one occassion, he flew G-George, which is in the War Museum in Canberra.  I'm planning to take his widow there to see G-George.
