Item Description: This is a beautiful vintage English Oak sideboard. It has a beautiful large plate rack with a lovely cornice and three shelves including the plate rack on top and two small cabinets with two shelves inside. The top surface is in very good condition and it has a nice finish even though it has a minor wood flaw and a scratch in front of the lower plate holder. There are three drawers that are well built with dovetail joinery. The right drawer has a removable felt lined divider and they all have lovely brass handles. This hutch has three ample cabinets on the bottom with six shelves, two of them which are half shelves. The cabinet doors feature handsome raised scalloped carving designs on the center, and the three at the bottom have lock mechanism with two keys included. The sides of this sideboard are paneled and it is overall in very good cosmetic and structural condition. It is very strong and sturdy. One of the drawers include a makers label of *Bevan Funnel Ltd.
