No Reserve & low starting price - You are bidding on a beautiful hand painted oil portrait framed in an old hand carved wooden frame. With frame measures about 7" x 7." The painting is on some early type of hard white plastic - very light weight. The portrait is of an indigenous female of perhaps Bolivia, Ecuador or Peru but I feel sure it is not Mexican. She is very well painted and wearing a white blouse with blue embroidery, many necklaces, a pink head scarf and unusual hat. The work is believed to have been done between 1950-1969 or earlier and these wooden frames are rare to find anymore. Very good condition especially for its age. There is a tin or metal picture hanger nailed to the back of the frame for easy hanging. This painting is one of nine - so be sure to look at the others, too. Would be a great addition to your folk art collection!
