No Reserve & low starting price - You are bidding on a beautiful hand painted oil framed in an old hand carved wooden frame. With frame measures about 7" x 7." The painting is on some early type of hard white plastic - very light weight. The painting is of two indigenous men of perhaps Bolivia, Ecuador or Peru but I feel sure it is not Mexican. They are very well painted and both barefoot, wearing white peasant pants and colorful serapes and straw hats. In this scene, they seem to be having a bowl of food cooked in the pot on the fire between them. The work is believed to have been done between 1950-1969 or much earlier and these wooden frames are rare to find anymore. Very good condition especially for its age. There is a tin or metal picture hanger nailed to the back of the frame for easy hanging. It is signed but I can not make out the signature. This painting is one of nine - so be sure to look at the others, too. Would be a great addition to your collection!
