Vintage Old German Glass Ornament - CAT HEAD WITH CAP

This auction is part of a larger group of antique/vintage Christmas decorations that I'll be selling in the next few days - just in time for holiday decorating.  Please check out the other lots.

Up for sale is a vintage glass CAT HEAD WEARING CAP ornament from Germany c1920 or earlier (it retains it's original early brass hanger).  The ornament is painted pearly silver with a fushia cap and collar and red mouth.  It is in great condition with some rubs to the paint on the back right side of the head and scattered spots on the face.  The brass cap is fit tightly on the ornament and possibly glued down (I didn't move the cap for fear of damaging the glass).  An impressive ornament, it measure 2 1/2 inches.  A similar example can be found on page 29 of John Lightner's book:  "Christmas Rarities, a Pictorial Collection of Rare Antique German Glass Christmas Ornaments".
