We have for auction this great old Oriental Wood box with five drawers. It came from a local estate sale but we know nothing about the history. The box measures 9 1/2" x 7" x 7" and it has a front that slides up and off to reveal five drawers. There are metal corner designs along with designs on the sides and a metal handle. The box has dovetail edges as do the corners of the drawers. The bottom larger drawer is missing a knob but it does have dividers that give you four sections. It would be a great box for jewelry, trinkets, or just for a decorative piece. It does have a musty smell but that could be corrected by several methods.
