My father gave me these Ovation guitar necks quite a few years ago. He had a local restaurant and one of his customers gave them to him since my father was a hobby woodworker. They were “seconds” from the New Hartford Ovation factory which was owned by Kaman. From what I’ve learned after selling the first few, Ovation stopped using a wooden heel around the late 70s or early 80s and since these have the wooden heel, they are prior to this changeover. Those reading this, however, know far more about guitars than I do.
Please see the pictures. There are 4 necks in various states of disarray. It would seem to me that these would be of use if you are into building or repairing guitars although please realize they were seconds originally.
I have sold about a half dozen of these on Ebay over the past year or so from prices ranging from $10 to $90. The $90 one was the best one I had. I got sick of taking pictures and mailing them on an individual basis thus I’m trying to sell them in groups.
I will ship the 4 guitar neck via parcel post to the continental US for $12.00
I am selling these and other items on Ebay because I’m trying to downsize since we plan to move in a few years. I am selling things I no longer use or don’t want to move. I started selling on Ebay in 2007 after years of being a buyer. I’m retired and around most of the time so any item may be picked up if you happen to live within driving distance. Since I know little about international shipping, I prefer only to mail to the continental US. If you live outside the continental US and are willing to pay the additional expense and walk me through the procedures of shipping, please contact me before bidding. I have mailed to Canada. All sales are final because I really don’t want anything back. Please check my feedback.
